The ATV receives the PCI DSS certificate again


MTB has already obtained this prestigious certification of conformity in 2019 and 2020

Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) recently received payment card industry data security standard (PCI DSS) version 3.2.1 compliance certification for the third year, according to a press release.

This is a certificate that guarantees the security of card systems, from SISA Information Security – a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) company.

MTB has already obtained this prestigious certification of conformity in 2019 and 2020.

This is the 3rd year in a row, the ATV has maintained its compliance and has been recertified by the SISA certification authority.

Software Shop Limited (SSL Wireless) – one of the country’s leading IT security service providers, acting as a local partner of SISA, coordinated procedural support for the certification process.

Syed Mahbubur Rahman, CEO of MTB received the certificate from the hands of Ahmed Kamal Khan Chowdhury, advisor of the Software Shop Limited (SSL Wireless) group during a certificate presentation ceremony held at the MTB Center, the head office of the bank at Gulshan 1.

PCI DSS certification is considered one of the most prestigious certificates for all compliant financial service providers in the digital payment system.

Achieving this compliance ensures that cardholder data is highly protected in the MTB system.

MTB is one of the few banks to have achieved such a high level of security in Bangladesh.

Tarek Reaz Khan, Chief Operating Officer (COO); Md Shafquat Hossain, Head of SME and Retail Banking; Shyamol Boran Das, Director of Information and Digital (CIDO); Amitav Kaiser, Head of the Infrastructure Division; Md Abu Bokar Siddik, responsible for maps; Jhantu Gomes, head of the card operations department; Azam Khan, Head of Communications Department and Md Rabiul Alam, Head of Alternate Delivery Channel (ADC) of MTB and Reazul Islam, Managing Director; Shahzada M. Redwan, CTO and Mohiuddin Tawfik, Director of Banking and Financial Services of SSL Wireless as well as other senior officials from all relevant organizations were present at the ceremony.
